&
Community Agreements
Our team works hard to keep The Portal exquisite, nourishing and safe. We ask that as part of our co-created community, you do the same with your words and actions.
All members and guests agree to respect these guidelines at all times while at The Portal.
Shoe Policy
We invite all members and guests to remove their shoes upon entering the space and use the self-serve cubbies in the entryway to store them. For more information on why we’re curating a shoes-off space, go to the bottom of this page.
Dress Code
All members, guests and staff are encouraged to wear clothing that supports individual expression while respecting community boundaries. Clothing is required on-site at all times unless in a private sauna/cold-plunge pod with consent from all people participating in that booking. Clothing is required to move from the sauna area to the changing rooms and showers.
Respect
The Portal is a space designed for connection, collaboration and intention. Our community is expected to uphold a respectful environment to ensure all members and guests feel welcome.
Interact with staff, members, guests and the space in a respectful and courteous manner.
Be mindful of your noise contribution in the Spa, Yoga Studio and Member’s Lounge. Please respect those around you by keeping your voice (and your device sounds) to a level courteous to others around you and in the space. If you need to take a call while at The Portal, please utilize our phone booths in the Member’s Lounge.
Enter The Portal with an open mind and a willingness to share space with fellow community members. Our Member’s Lounge and Yoga Studio have limited capacity, so please be mindful when reserving space in common areas and help us keep shared spaces open and welcome for everyone to use.
Phone Booth Etiquette
The Member’s Lounge has 3 soundproofed work booths available for use. Please refrain from taking calls in the lounge unless a booth is available to you, and please limit sessions in work booths and meeting rooms to 90 minutes at a time.
Timeliness
Please show respect to our staff and community members by arriving on time for all spa bookings, yoga classes, and events happening at The Portal. For all yoga classes and spa remedies, if you arrive 10 minutes or later after your scheduled time, your booking will be canceled.

Health & Safety
All spa remedies at The Portal require written consent and may require training and support from our in-house Health Manager. Please familiarize yourself with all contraindications and risks before using any of our in-house remedies. Leave No Trace
We ask our Members and their Guests to follow our “leave no trace” policy, treating the space with intention and care by cleaning your own mugs and dishes, tidying up after yourself, and properly using our trash, recycling and compost systems. Our sink and dishwasher are located in the back corner by the upstairs patio.
Please do not use essential oils, sprays, perfumes, colognes, body washes, etc anywhere on-site, especially while in the saunas/cold plunges, biohacking spa remedies, changing rooms and showers.
Smoking Policy
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in all areas within 15 feet of The Portal, including our outdoor patios and sauna spaces.
Guest Policy
All members of The Portal are welcome to bring guests into the Members Lounge. Please review your membership tier for specific details on how many guests you can bring each month. Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests are aware of and comply with The Portal’s Member policies. All member policies are equally applicable to guests.
If you’re interested in bringing guests to an event, please direct them to our public-facing event registration page found on The Portal Website. All guests must register in advance of attendance. Kindly note that some events will be listed as members-only.
You are welcome to bring guests to your booked session for sauna/cold plunge per your membership tier spa benefits. You are also welcome to bring additional guests to join you for one of your booked sessions for $25/person (exception: the hyperbaric chamber can only accommodate one user so no guests may join for this remedy).

Why is The Portal a shoe-free space?
At The Portal, we invite all members and guests to remove their shoes upon entering the space. Here's why creating a shoe-free culture is important to us:
Grounding & Connection: The Portal is a community space which aims to facilitate expansion, belonging and nourishment. By removing our shoes upon entry, we are enhancing our senses, promoting mindfulness, and channeling purpose.
Respect & Mindfulness: Removing shoes is a sign of respect for the space and the practice taking place within it. Whether your intention is to connect with fellow members in the lounge, reconnect with yourself in the studio or drop into an embodiment practice using the spa, being barefoot as a collective shows mindfulness towards fellow practitioners and creates a tranquil environment where everyone can fully drop into their intentions.
Community Cooperation: Respecting our shoes-off policy helps us maintain a clean, peaceful, and welcoming environment. We appreciate your mindfulness and support in creating an intentional environment for our community.
Thank you for joining us in honoring this tradition and for supporting a culture of intention and respect within the first few steps of entering The Portal.
